To launch Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars, repositioning it from a 4-star to a 5-star hotel in the City of London.
We were aproached by Hyatt Regency London blackfriars to assist in the launch of thier hotel. Below we have highlighted the steps we took to do this.
– Circulated an initial press release announcing the opening with a focus on trade press
– Planned and executed an exclusive press tour for top-tier press, which involved:
– Model simulations
– Food tasting and cocktails
– Entertainment
– PR goodie bags
The target for the press tour was top tier Travel Journalist, with a focus on business and luxury travel.
As with most new openings, there were many challenges and set backs along the way. Due to uncertainty on the exact opening date, we had a very short lead time to send out invites and secure a great guestlist.
Only four out of the seven floors were ready, so we had to make some adjustments due to this.
– Over 50 pieces of coverage following the opening
– Fully booked for the first 6 months post-opening
– The most successful Hyatt launch in London to date
– Consistently the highest ADR across Hyatt London Portfolio
Since the launch, we have taken over all marketing, PR and social media for the hotel and its F&B outlets. We are working on on going strategies to ensure consistence brand awareness.
